MDRS Code of Conduct
As a professional society, the MDRS is committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages the free expression and exchange of scientific and educational ideas. MDRS does not tolerate discrimination or any form of harassment and is committed to abiding by a Code of Conduct at its Annual Meeting or at any other MDRS event.
It is impossible to define every action or word that could be interpreted as harassment. However, MDRS has a "zero tolerance" policy toward discrimination and all forms of harassment. MDRS reserves the right to discipline meeting participants who engage in inappropriate conduct. Inappropriate behavior at MDRS meetings includes harassment, demeaning comments, abusive conduct, undue or excessive interruptions, and violence or threats of violence.
Our goal is that every person attending our meetings be able to benefit from, enjoy and participate fully in the meeting, including social events. Meeting participants or other individuals who witness or experience inappropriate conduct should report such conduct immediately to a member of either the MDRS Executive or JEDI Committee.
